TOP TOPICS Monthly Spotlights Just for HPSJ Providers, Late June 2021
To ensure no delays in your payments
We’re already transitioning to the new, improved payments system in the fall. We will send information to ensure a smooth transition for your electronic payments – or help you to transition away from paper to take full advantage of this new system. For now, we ask the following:
As soon as possible, we need the email address of the person at your practice authorized to make decisions about claims, payments, and bank account information. Please provide this information at http://www.hpsj.com/paycontact.
Questions? Please see www.hpsj.com/pay, or call the HPSJ Provider Services Team at 209.942.6320.

2nd COVID Shot Reminders
Too many are skipping this more complete protection. This is a region-wide challenge. Please join us in reaching out to Health Plan of San Joaquin members and our community so they understand the need for both doses of the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines, in order to have full safety.
This also is another great way to highlight all your continuing work for safe reopening.
Come for their COVID shot. Then stay for kids’ well-child care.
We’re encouraging providers (especially pediatricians) to (1) become COVID vaccinators, (2) reach out to HPSJ patients for their vaccination, and (3) during their vaccination appointment check-in for medical and/or preventative care issues.
Vaccinator registration is still open, at bit.ly/3gI7DIM.
HPSJ Language Services – Essential for member’s best health care
When practice patterns do not include appropriate language assistance services, it impacts the individual patient and also contributes to health disparities. Schedule an interpreter or translator with Customer Service – at least 5 days before the visit. Or use the “Request an Interpreter” form at www.hpsj.com/customer-service.
