The Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) is hosting a virtual webinar on the 2026 Medi-Medi Plan Expansion to Rural Counties. DHCS is collaborating with several health plans on this program expansion. The webinar is intended for Medicare providers in eight rural counties: Alpine, Amador, Calaveras, El Dorado, Inyo, Mariposa, Mono, and Tuolumne. The webinar will provide important updates about Medi-Medi Plans launching in these counties in 2026, to serve members dually eligible for Medicare and Medi-Cal. Changes to the Medicare delivery system in these counties will be discussed.
The webinar will include:
- An overview of dual eligible members, with Medicare and Medi-Cal;
- Information about Medi-Medi Plans; and
- Resources for providers and members
