Health Plan is proud to announce that our DRE provider portal will be updated to include a new electronic medical management system called Jiva, which will go live on February 20, 2024. Jiva will replace Essette, the current electronic medical management system that you are familiar with in submitting authorization requests via DRE.
After Jiva goes live, users will find the same dependability as it seamlessly
Integrates your data and enhances efficiency and effectiveness. Although the new fields will look slightly different, the authorization requirements will remain the same.
Below, on the left, is the current view of the authorization request link in DRE. On the right, is the layout for the new authorization request link.
To prepare you for this upcoming transition, we will be hosting three training sessions on how to use the new authorization system for providers and staff on the following dates and times. The training will be the same on each day; therefore, you only need to attend one session.
