HPSJ has identified a system issue in which non-covered Revenue Codes are incorrectly paying. In accordance with the Medi-Cal guidelines, claims received with an invalid Revenue Code will deny.

If you receive a denial –

• You should resubmit a corrected claim using a covered Revenue Code.
• To ensure you are billing with valid Medi-Cal Revenue Codes, please review the list located in the Medi-Cal Provider Manual under: Revenue Codes for Inpatient Service.
