Subject: State Reverses Change to PM 160 Encounter Forms
Business: Medi-Cal, MCAP (Medi-Cal Access Program, previously known as AIM)

The Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) has informed HPSJ that at this time:

  • PM 160 Encounter forms will only be eliminated from the state Medi-Cal program
  • All Medi-Cal Managed Care Health Plans, including Health Plan of San Joaquin, are still required to submit these forms

Please disregard our ALERT of June 16, 2017. We regret any inconvenience this reversal may cause your practice.
