Health Plan of San Joaquin currently utilizes the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Controlled Substance Ace (CSA) subscription service from NTIS to update/renew DEA certificates.
As of November 17, 2020
- NTIS will no longer accept renewal subscriptions for the DEA subscription service.
- DEA is the owner of the Controlled Substances Act Registration Information Database and the dataset contained within.
- DEA has determined they will manage control and access to their data after November 17, 2020.
What does this mean?
- When you are due for renewal, please send us a copy of your renewed DEA
Certificate. - If you do not have a current copy of your DEA, you may obtain a copy here:
https://www.deadiversion.usdoj.gov/drugreg/process.htm (under the
Registration tab) - The DEA will make files available to all new and renewal registrants by way of the DEA Diversion Control Division website.
