In accordance with California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS), Health Plan’s network providers and their staff are required to complete mandatory trainings annually. The training ensures our network providers are meeting the unique and diverse needs of all members and comply with state and federal regulations.
Health Plan’s mandatory trainings below must be completed by June 30, 2025 and attestations of completed trainings are required.
- Cultural Competency Training and Sensitivity Training
- Anti-Fraud, Waste and Abuse Training
- Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) Training
- *Early Periodic Screening and Diagnostic Treatments (EPSDT)- Medi-Cal for Kids & Teens Training
- Emergency Preparedness Training
*Please note, EPSDT Training is required every two years. Therefore, if you have completed EPSDT Training between 1/1/2024 to current, you do not need to complete the training in Calendar Year 2025.
