Integrated Practice Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (IP-CANS) Summer 2026 Trainings – Two-day virtual certification workshops for providers working with Child Welfare youth.
All sessions will occur via Zoom from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. PT.

Overview
The Summer 2026 IP-CANS Training provides a two-day virtual workshop designed to prepare participants for certification in the Integrated Practice Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (IP-CANS) tool. Participants will learn about indicators, action levels, and how to integrate ratings within practice settings.
Certification is required for all individuals completing the IP-CANS on behalf of a placing agency serving children and youth involved in the child welfare system.
