Health Plan of San Joaquin announces new director of Financial Planning & Analysis

Kay Andora(French Camp, CA) – Health Plan of San Joaquin (HPSJ) has announced that Kay Andora has joined HPSJ as the director of financial planning and analysis. She comes to HPSJ as a leader who has designed and implemented administrative cost savings and process improvements that make it possible for health care organizations to focus resources on quality care, remain viable and improve health and wellness outcomes for members and communities.

Andora has over 15 years of experience in financial and statistical analysis. Before joining Health Plan of San Joaquin she was lead financial analyst at Blue Shield of California, and she was a senior financial analyst at Kaiser Permanente (Roseville, California), as well as a financial analyst with Sutter Health (Sacramento, California).

“For the past nine years, I have focused on the health care financial landscape because I believe true access to quality care can only be measurably achieved when sustainable business operations are in place and provide a firm foundation to serve members,” said Andora, “I came to HPSJ to help continue their 20-year tradition of hands-on, high-touch health care for our diverse Central Valley, and I look forward to collaborating with dedicated HPSJ colleagues and longtime community partners,” she added.

Michelle Tetreault.” Andora received her Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from University of Phoenix (Phoenix,
Arizona).
