Health Plan of San Joaquin announces new controller

Eleanor Falcon(French Camp, CA) – Health Plan of San Joaquin (HPSJ) has announced that Eleanor Falcon has been appointed controller for HPSJ. As controller, she supervises the financial operations of the not-for-profit managed care plan which annually distributes nearly $1 billion in state and federal revenue. Before her current appointment, Falcon was HPSJ’s assistant controller.

Eleanor Falcon has 18 years of experience in the health care sector. Before joining Health Plan of San Joaquin over two years ago, her experiences as a senior accountant included Astreya Partners (Santa Clara, California), and earlier with two Burlingame, California healthcare-related firms, Davita RX and Vivra Holdings. She also has been an accountant with Oakland-based Kaiser Foundation. At HPSJ, Falcon is responsible for the accurate, reliable management of accounting systems, as well regular financial audits. She has received the Health Plan of San Joaquin Integrity award.

Eleanor Falcon received her bachelor’s degree in accounting from University of San Carlos (Cebu, Philippines), graduating cum laude
