Print Friendly, PDF & Email

ICD-10 is Coming … 10/1
In the march to ICD-10 and October 1, here is a new monthly spotlight on what HPSJ is doing in parallel with your own efforts to get ready and how we will be helping you smooth the transition for your practice.

Coming in May

Code Crosswalk Interactive Tool will be available. Located inside the DRE portal of HPSJ.com, your one-stop online shop for information on plan members, authorizations, claims and more.

The Essential Facts
The Federal Government will require that all claims submitted on and after October 1, 2015 use ICD-10 coding. Starting October 1, HPSJ will not be allowed to reimburse for any claims not submitted with ICD-10 coding.

To support practitioners, HPSJ has –

  • Posted a list of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) on the Provider section of hpsj4.wpengine.com, under Education & Training.
  • Sent a Readiness Survey – Thanks to all who responded to the January survey we sent to help assess the status of ICD-10 implementation and to identify ways we might support offices through the transition.
Still time to weigh in -> Survey submission deadline: April 29, 2015.
