California’s Department of Managed Health Care (DMHC) and the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) have scheduled a routine annual joint medical audit of Health Plan of San Joaquin (HPSJ). The medical audit will consist of an evaluation of the Plan’s compliance with its contract and regulations.
Auditors will be onsite at HPSJ from July 13-July 24, 2015.
The audit will involve facility site visits and medical record review by DHCS. DHCS auditors will conduct interviews with some of our HPSJ providers at their practice locations. Providers selected by DHCS for a site visit will be contacted directly by a DHCS Nurse Evaluator to schedule the onsite visit.
