The Medi-Cal Outreach and Education team and the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) are pleased to announce an in-person training event on August 13, 2025, in Northern California.

The in-person training events offer basic and advanced billing courses for various provider types. These events will be conducted at different intervals throughout the year within California and offer billing assistance at no cost in the Claims Assistance Room (CAR).

Providers are encouraged to bring their more complex billing issues and receive individual assistance from a Regional Representative.

Seating is limited. Providers who are interested in attending must register through the Medi-Cal Learning Portal Event Calendar before Monday, August 11, 2025, at 11:59 p.m.

Registration begins at 8:00 a.m., with training sessions beginning at 9:00 a.m., at the following location:

Physical copies of the Medi-Cal Provider Training Workbooks will not be provided. Providers can access or download a copy of the training workbooks at the Medi-Cal Provider Training Workbooks page of the Medi-Cal Providers website.

Note: Wi-Fi will not be provided at the location. Parking is free.
