Language assistance services

All Health Plan Advantage D-SNP members who speak languages other than English can ask for help. You have the right to no-cost interpreting, as well as American Sign Language. You do not have to use a friend or children to interpret for you.

An interpreter can help you:

  • Listen to your doctor and tell you what he/she is saying in your language
  • Tell your doctor what you are saying

Need help getting an interpreter in your language? Call our Customer Service Department.

NOTE: If you want a person who speaks your language to help at your doctor’s visit, call Customer Service at least 5 (five) working days before your scheduled appointment.

  • I’m a new member, when will I get my ID card?
    • Your card will be mailed to the address on file within 7 business days after becoming a member of Health Plan.

    • I’m an existing member and need a replacement ID card.

For physician peer to peer discussion, please call 1-209-942-6353. To send a fax to the UM Department, please use 1-209-942-6302 for the Prior Authorization Team and use 1-209-762-4702 for the Inpatient Team.
