Managed Care Accountability Sets (MCAS) Measure
The following is a reminder regarding the Contraceptive Care (CCW – AD).
Description
The percentage of women ages 21 to 44 at risk of unintended pregnancy that:
- Were provided a most effective or moderately effective method of contraception.
- Were provided a long- acting reversible method of contraception (LARC).
CCW – AD: All women measure is stratified into two age groups:
- The Child Core Set measure applies to beneficiaries ages 15 to 20.
- The Adult Core Set measure applies to beneficiaries ages 21 to 44.
There is no lookback period for this measure to determine if there was a previous sterilization, LARC insertion, or other contraceptive method provided prior to the measurement year.
