Health Plan recently notified you that our provider payer and claims clearing house, Change Healthcare, disconnected their systems because of a cyber security issue. We also informed you that paper checks would be issued to the “Pay to” address we have on file to avoid payment delays.
Please be advised that paper checks were issued on February 27, 2024, February 28, 2024, and February 29, 2024, to the “Pay To” address in our system. Please allow up to 10 business days for delivery. Health Plan will continue to send payments to you directly to minimize disruption to your operations. We are working on a process to provide the remittance advice (RA) details to you as soon as possible. We will communicate the method of delivery of the RA information once the process is finalized. If you currently submit electronic claims through Change Healthcare, Change Healthcare is not currently available to receive claim submissions. We recommend that you enroll for electronic data exchange (EDI) with one of our two alternative clearing houses, Office Ally and Waystar.
