Beat End-of-Summer Rush – Health Plan of San Joaquin & Partners Helping Kids Get Ready for Back to School!

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

(French Camp, CA) –Health Plan of San Joaquin is advising members to contact their family doctor or clinic and schedule well-visits for the regular childhood immunizations and checkups their children need to start the new school year and stay healthy.

Well-visits can help parents:

  • Track milestones – “Is your child growing at a good pace? Are they talking enough?
  • Stay updated on regular childhood immunizations – The best way to prevent many illnesses, including those that once were devastating for kids, like diphtheria, rubella, whooping cough, measles, mumps and polio
  • Screen for any issues – Including lead blood screening, hearing and vision screenings
