HPSJ has been informed by the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) that it has “deactivated” Vantage Transport as a contracted, Medi-Cal transportation provider. As of October 1, 2015, Vantage Transport is prohibited from providing services to HPSJ members.
We do not have all of the information, however their suspension is related to providing services that do not currently meet quality or compliance requirements. We understand that Vantage is working very closely with DHCS to address all areas of concern as promptly as possible. They may be able to provide transportation again at some point to our MediCal/AIM members, but for now they cannot.
For providers currently referring HPSJ Medi-Cal members to Vantage Transport, please use any of our other contracted, non-emergent transportation providers until this situation has been resolved with DHCS.
