On Monday, February 1, 2021, we will begin the annual HEDIS medical review. Health Plan of San Joaquin (HPSJ) would like to inform you of the changes that will take effect this coming HEDIS season.

  • Please note that due to COVID-19 restrictions, we will no longer send staff into any clinic or office sites for the 2021 HEDIS Medical Record Review documentation collection process.
  • At this time, we are advising you that when patient information is requested from HPSJ, an appropriate response will be to fax back the requested members’ information.
  • HPSJ contracted providers are required to participate in medical records reviews.
  • It is important that your office responses are timely and accurate.
  • Provider offices must always adhere to applicable privacy laws when providing member information.
