What is the Health Education Committee (HEC)?

The HEC is a space where various service-oriented organizations can come and learn about the population efforts Health Plan of San Joaquin is taking. It’s an opportunity to have critical conversations so we can begin collaborating on innovative projects to address the same populations many of us serve. The health education team at HPSJ is interested in addressing the root causes of health inequities. Reaching our internal goals is just as important as helping our partners reach their goals.

What is the purpose of the meetings?

The purpose is to share tools, training opportunities, webinars, or other information that has the potential to help the various agencies within both counties we serve.

How often are meetings?

Meeting Frequency: Bi-monthly, 4th Wednesday of the month
Where: Web Meeting via Microsoft Teams
Time: 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM
