Outreach & Enrollment
Health Plan of San Joaquin has an Outreach & Enrollment team who are fully committed to helping people get the coverage they need. They speak different languages, such as Spanish and Khmer and provide free application and enrollment assistance to help people find out if they qualify for Medi-Cal or other programs. When members have questions or problems with their eligibility, our knowledgeable staff also assists, providing support every step of the way until the problem is resolved. Each year, when it is time for people to renew their coverage, the Enrollment Team works with members to keep their Medi-Cal.
To make sure people who live in San Joaquin and Stanislaus know about the services offered by Health Plan of San Joaquin, our Community Outreach Team attends health fairs, presents information at schools and churches, and talks to people in our community who may qualify for coverage. Our team also works with non-profits and community based organizations to make sure they have all of the latest information to share with people who could benefit from other programs and services.
HPSJ’s commitment to the Provider Community begins in Contracting. It is in Contracting where we set the foundation for long term partnerships with our providers.
