American Heart Association will be hosting the 209 Heart and Stroke Walk on Saturday, September 12th, 2026, from 8:30am to 11:30am.  At River Islands, 1401 River Islands Parkway, Lathrop, Ca 95330.  Through the annual Heart & Stroke Walk, friends, families, coworkers and neighbors walk together to demonstrate their commitment to their health and to honor or remember loved ones with heart disease or stroke.

The Stanislaus County Community Services Agency will be hosting a monthly Open House event every first Monday of the month from 9:00am to 12:00pm. Come and speak to HPSJ’s outreach team and various community organizations offering free information on health insurance, community resources, and services for Medi-Cal recipients.

El Concilio will be hosting their Annual Gala an Evening of Celebration on Friday, September 18th, 2026, from 6:30pm to 9:00pm.  At the Double Tree by Hilton, 1150 9th St, Modesto, Ca 95354.  An Evening of Celebration is an annual community event that recognizes individuals, organizations, and partners whose leadership and service have strengthened Stanislaus County and improved the lives of local residents.

The Record Library & Literacy Foundation of SJC will be hosting their 29th Annual Family Day at the Park on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 10:00am to 3:00pm.  At the Weber’s Point Center, 221 N. Center St, Stockton, Ca.  Health Plan of San Joaquin will be hosting the Healthy Highway Area.  This event is FREE to the community and will provide entertainment for the kids, live music, games, food, clowns, and informational booths.

Health Plan of San Joaquin in partnership with The Record’s Literacy & Book Fair will be hosting the Keep My Medi-Cal Renewal event on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 10:00am to 3:00pm.  At Weber Point Events Center, 221 N. Center St, Stockton, Ca 95202.  Everyone who is enrolled in Medi-Cal must update their information at least once each year.  Help is available in your language. No appointment necessary!
