Calendar of Events

El Concilio will be hosting their Annual Gala an Evening of Celebration on Friday, September 18th, 2026, from 6:30pm to 9:00pm.  At the Double Tree by Hilton, 1150 9th St, Modesto, Ca 95354.  An Evening of Celebration is an annual community event that recognizes individuals, organizations, and partners whose leadership and service have strengthened Stanislaus County and improved the lives of local residents.

Stockton Pride will be hosting the Stockton Pride 2026 event on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 10:00am to 5:00pm.  At Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Plaza in Downtown Stockton, California. A fully activated outdoor festival designed to bring community, culture, and services together in one space. Stockton Pride 2026 is a free, all-ages outdoor community celebration.

The Record Library & Literacy Foundation of SJC will be hosting their 29th Annual Family Day at the Park on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 10:00am to 3:00pm.  At the Weber’s Point Center, 221 N. Center St, Stockton, Ca.  Health Plan of San Joaquin will be hosting the Healthy Highway Area.  This event is FREE to the community and will provide entertainment for the kids, live music, games, food, clowns, and informational booths.

Health Plan of San Joaquin in partnership with The Record’s Literacy & Book Fair will be hosting the Keep My Medi-Cal Renewal event on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 10:00am to 3:00pm.  At Weber Point Events Center, 221 N. Center St, Stockton, Ca 95202.  Everyone who is enrolled in Medi-Cal must update their information at least once each year.  Help is available in your language. No appointment necessary!

Family Promise of San Joaquin County will be hosting their 2nd Annual Family Promise Gala on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 5:00pm to 10:00pm.  At Wine & Roses 2505 W. Turner Rd Lodi, CA 95242.  The evening will feature dinner, a beautiful setting, and an opportunity to come together with our community in support of families working toward a brighter, more independent future.

Friends Outside will be hosting their 2nd Annual Champagne Gala on Sunday, September 20th, 2026, from 4:30pm to 7:30pm.  At BellaVista Rooftop, 110 N. El Dorado St, Stockton, Ca 95202.  Join them for a sparkly toast and learn how Friends Outside helps to make second chances possible for those who are impacted by the criminal justice system.

 Health Plan of San Joaquin Mountain Valley Health Plan will be hosting a FREE Medicare 101 and D-SNP Educational Session.  Wednesday, September 23, 2026, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm.  At 15707 5th St, Lathrop, Ca 95330.  If you are turning 65 or already on Medicare, you may qualify for more health care benefits than you realize.  Learn how Medicare works (Part A, B, C, D).

Center for Human Services will be hosting the 40th Annual Edible Extravaganza signature fundraising event on Thursday, September 24th, 2026, from 5:00pm to 9:00pm.  At the Modesto Centre Plaza, 1000 L St, Modesto, Ca 95354. This year Center for Human Services celebrates 40 years of inspiring the community to Eat, Drink, and Do Good!  This event raises thousands of dollars for CHS and helps raise awareness within the community they serve.

Feeding the Foothills will be hosting the Forks and Forklifts Fundraiser on Thursday, September 24, 2026, from 5:30pm to 8:00pm.  At the Feeding the Foothills Warehouse, 8284 Industrial Ave, Roseville, Ca 95678.  You will have an immersive experience learning about the day-to-day work that the donors make possible for the Feeding the Foothills team to feed the neighbors in need in El Dorado, Nevada and Placer Counties.

Thomas Toy Community Center will be hosting their 2^nd Annual Tommy Awards on Friday, September 25, 2026, from 6:00pm to 9:00pm.  At the Calvary Community Church, 815 W. Lathrop Rd, Manteca, Ca 95336.  An evening of recognition, inspiration and celebration.

SHAW 4 Community will be hosting their 6th Annual Community Wellness Hike on Saturday, September 26, 2026, with a start time 8:30am to 1:30pm.   At American River Bike Trail (American River Bike Trail, Folsom, California 95630).  This is a free event for the community free breakfast, BBQ lunch, Yoga/Zumba/Dancing, lake tour and hike.
