Health Plan of San Joaquin/Mountain Valley Health Plan (“Health Plan”)’s Continuing Education Scholarship seeks to support former recipients of the Health Plan Health Careers Scholarship Program currently enrolled college students. Students must still be pursuing careers in the medical and health fields, including IT, informatics, clinical social work, and clinical technicians. Note: For the purpose of this application, Continuing Education does not refer to awardees who leave and re-enter into the formal education system.

Applicants must have consistent enrollment at an accredited junior or community college, four-year College or university, demonstrate an interest in community health, intend to practice in Alpine, El Dorado, San Joaquin, or Stanislaus counties and demonstrate a financial need.
