Due to the tripledemic (RSV / Flu / COVID), the volumes in the ER have greatly increased. To decompress the ER and allow for members that really need emergent services to be seen timely, please ensure you screen and triage the members that call the office.
Please accommodate sick children that do not require emergent care through a telehealth visit or see them in the office.
Of note recently, the ERs are reporting an increase in patients with upper respiratory infections that can be seen in a primary care setting being routinely referred to the ER. The members are otherwise well and do not need emergent care.
