AIM PROGRAM

AIM Program

Health Plan of San Joaquin (HPSJ) offers the Access for Infants and Mothers (AIM) Program for pregnant women who reside in San Joaquin and Stanislaus Counties. The AIM program is available through the California Managed Risk Medical Insurance Board (MRMIB). AIM is designed to help pregnant women access and receive health care while they are expecting and up to 60 days after their baby is born.

When you select the AIM program through Health Plan of San Joaquin, you have access to providers who have been selected exclusively for this program. Health Plan’s goal is to promote and ensure early prenatal care and routine preventive health care. Our plan also provides you with a broad array of medical and prescription drug services, and once your baby is born, he or she will be enrolled into the Healthy Families Program offered by HPSJ.

There are guidelines to applying and we are here to assist you!

The HPSJ AIM Program offers you:

  • Access to preventive, maternity and specialist care from our network of AIM Program providers
  • Prescription drug coverage
  • 24-hour emergency care
  • Free 24-hour Advice Nurse – 7 days a week
