Push back against a COVID-19 Winter!
"Our regional case and hospitalization rates for COVID 19 are once again on the rise. But Health Plan of San Joaquin (HPSJ) is pushing back on a COVID-19 winter.
"Coronavirus doesn’t go away for the holidays. Neither do we! And, it turns out, neither do most of us!!"  READ THE COMPLETE OPINION PIECE HERE

From your positions of trust, please join HPSJ in continuing to promote safe behaviors throughout the holidays. That includes celebrating with just those already in the household, and connecting virtually with others. This is how we give the precious gift of holiday safety.

TEAM QUALITY: More Innovation for Members' Health
NEW - Mobile Mammogram Van

A pandemic does not stop our Quality team. They work with colleagues, as well as providers throughout the HPSJ Network, to help promote and deliver highest access to the Medi-Cal benefits and services we offer. Then they work diligently as we measure our effectiveness on behalf of our members' health outcomes.
Starting in August 2020, HPSJ engaged a vendor to provide ongoing mobile mammogram services. The Mobile Mammogram Van – from Alinea Medical Imaging – is now providing access for an essential preventive screening. In addition to the mobile van, added mobile mammogram scheduling is giving more options for HPSJ patients at their primary provider's locations. Van + schedule flexibility + location + PCP premises: Combined, these are helping decrease the kinds of inconvenience and other barriers we have been hearing about from our HPSJ members.

We are pleased to offer our HPSJ providers this service so they can encourage their HPSJ patients to get this essential, preventative screening at times - and at their office doorstep - in ways convenient for both patient and practice. To learn more about this mobile mammogram opportunity, and how you can host a screening day, go to www.alineamed.com or reach out to your Provider Services Representative.
